So it's been eight months since we've moved in to this house, and I can no longer use the excuse of the new move to justify why my house is an unorganized disaster.

Our house is a four bedroom, and one of those bedrooms is completely dedicated to a large mass of stuff we haven't even unpacked yet. The worst part of it is that it's all in plastic garbage bags, since we ran out of boxes and had to move in a hurry. I do the dishes.. Wash the laundry. Cook the dinner. Pick up the living room. But I just feel as if there's no room for all the shit we have, and we don't even have a lot of extra shit. Well why don't you just sit down and go through it, you might ask? Because I am the poster child for ADHD. No seriously I was diagnosed as a child, but my parents refused every type of treatment because they didn't want a "special" child. Ugh. So because of that I passed high school by the skin of my teeth. A half a point stood between me and my graduation (I'm pretty sure my math teacher passed me for the simple fact he pitied me). I get to doing a project, and right in the middle of that something else catches my eye, so I start doing that, and then remember I was doing something in the beginning, so I try to finish, and forget what I wanted to do with the first project. Everyone knows that when you get to doing a project, it can get very messy unitl you're done, so imagine five different half-started things scattered all around my house. I need someone to stand over my shoulder and crack a whip... not literally, because I suck at handling pain. It's pathetic (ignore the three tattoos... I know, I don't understand it either).

Speaking of pain, my foot is healing slowly. The swelling is almost gone, and now the bruising has risen to the surface. My toes are a glorious gross color, and there's some pretty marks on my actual ankle. I can walk almost without a limp, but damn are those toes still tender.

We cut our pumpkins last night for Halloween. Good god have I forgotten how much I love the smell of a fresh cut pumpkin. This is the first year in many years that we actually did pumpkins this year. Honestly I think it might have been Thing 1's first time doing them. I always had pumpkins, but we got too busy to do them, since Thing 1 (at that time) was always over at my parents, and I was always working. I could never get in to the spirit of the holidays. But now we cut our pumpkins, got our candy bags, got our costumes (except for Thing 2.... he's going to be tricky.) Honestly I can't wait to take the boys out trick or treating! Being in a small town I (hopefully) don't have to worry about stupid shit like clowns, although honestly the hype seems to be dying off. I at least haven't seen nor heard of any more storeis. Yay!

What are your kids going to be for Halloween? How does everyone stay on track with cleaning their house?
